Ohh this message. Yes, I did. I kind of skimmed it when it popped up. I didn't exactly read it thoroughly. What a bummer. This was so useful the way it was set up originally.
Thanks for the info.
This article is from 2023. I was using the home button up until a few weeks ago. What changed?
Maybe my memory is off a few months... But, I had been using it up until the last Security/OS update, which was within the last month or 2...
Google Pixel 8. Latest OS.
I'm noticing after a recent update, I can no longer hold the Home Button to activate Google Assistant. I have to say "OK Google" for it to active. How do I restore this feature? I don't want to add Google Assistant to the power button either.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tablet S6 SM-T867U.
I was hoping to get Android Auto to connect to my Google Pixel 8, but the tablet says Android Auto isn't compatible with the tablet.
Is there a way I can force it to work? Maybe use some form of crack of some kind?
I've tried doing these steps. There aren't any notifications enabled for an app that would produce this issue. Google Lens is not installed on my phone. I think it's just built in.
I tried the other solutions, but they didn't work 100%. I'm kind of out of ideas at this point. I just factory reset the phone last week. I don't even have a lot of apps on the phone. I thought it was "Google Suggestions", but when I turned that off it sort of messed with my ability to search my...

I don't have an app called Google Lens. It's not even installed.
I went to Settings > Special App Access > Display over other apps. None of my apps have this permission.
I have a Google Pixel 5. I don't remember always remembering it being there. I did do a factory reset last week. This is when I started to notice it. I'm on Android 13.
If I tap the icon, it shows a list of apps and people I can share it to. It says "Lens, Copy, Share, Save, when I tap it...
How do I turn off the icon that is in this image? Every time I open a photo or view certain apps, I get this Share/Google Lens search button. I can't find in the settings where to turn it off. It's very annoying.
