    Help custom network name on lockscreen?

    on the top right of the lockscreen it says your network provider, (3,o2,T-mobile etc...) i heard you could change this by changing the "spn-conf.xml" file in /system/etc is this possible? has anyone had any experiance customizing it? and is there any how to threads out there? thanks
