View Full Version : NES Emulator
If a Sidekick can do it... I mean it isn't cutting edge or anything but everyone loves old school NES games, right?

How long before we get one of these bad boys onto Android. Piece of cake?

SNES all the way!
Enough said, SNES is the best console of all time
My friend missed the bus yesterday and we played a PINBALL machine for 1 hour waiting for the next one. I've never had so much fun playing pinball.
There IS such a thing as OVERdoing it. While I love the complexities of the newer systems including the amazing graphics, there is something to be said for the head to head combat and button mashing intensity that the original consoles provide.
BTW, Tecmo Bowl rocks... so did Tecmo Baseball

We are all excited and for a good reason, I am sure in a few months all of this will become availiable.

vNES looks like the best candidate for porting to Android but it has heavy use of libraries that are not available on Android. Expect a bit of a wait before anybody ports one over.
yea patience my friends.. it will be here soon enough.

SNES Emulator will be nifty but weird on a small platform on the G1. It might take up too much space.

GameBoy Emulator is on the Market. Its a start, so hopefully we'll see more of this.
And for some reason it says NES on the thread title... O_o

Did you try any of the ROMS, they seem awfully slow. Agonizing...I think it might be unplayable. What do you think?

I downloaded it. I could even get the "buttons" to respond well enough. I'm about to delete.

Agreed. The GameBoy emulator needs some work, it'd be amazing if it didn't lag so much. I love my old Nintendo games :)
