    Issues with signing app on Android Studio

    Thank you for the replies, I went through them but unfortunately it didn't work out. However I did circumvent the process with the method shown in this video: . It used command prompt to create a key rather than Android Studio and it works fine. I hope this helps anyone with the same issue.

    I am just at the end of my app development cycle but unfortunately I can't sign the app bundle to upload it to the play store. When I attempt to use the "Generate signed APK" function it throws up this error message after I've put in the details of the keystore and moved on...
