That's why I buy feature-filled phones that tick all the boxes for me right out of the box. I don't have to wait for an OS update that may or may not bring features that I find useful. To me the changes are often incremental: you swipe here instead of tapping and so on. Then you run the risk of losing an option you liked and have grown accustomed to. I'm more than happy with the way my phone runs now but I'll do what I always do with these new updates: decline to download it until the bugs are worked out.
