Big apps: apk files can now be up to 100MB in size

Got a notification in my developer console today that .apk files for an app can be up to 100MB in size.

Maximum file size for APK files increased to 100MB To make it easier to deliver high quality apps and games, we’ve increased the maximum APK file size and mobile data warning limit to 100MB for apps targeting devices running Android OS 4.0 and higher.

If you have apps larger than 100MB, you can continue using APK expansion files. Apps targeting earlier versions of Android will continue to have a 50MB maximum APK file size.
