first off, not every heart notification icon means it is a dating up.....most are actually for health and wellbeing.

second, we get this question almost everyday here. the problem is that there are millions upon millions of apps out there and each has their own notification icon. so unless it is something popular most of the questions goes unanswered. most of the time you will get guesses from us and very few of these actually get answered correctly.

the easiest way is to just look in the phone's notifications for the answer. but 99.9% of the time the phone is not theirs and usually belongs to the significant other. if you can't look in the phone, and you can't ask the person, then there is not much we can do here.
