Help Helium Backup

Any one know if this program will do a full partition backup (like TWRP is able to do).

Also I've had problems even getting it to connect from the PC to the device. Any ideas??

a full partition backup? no not with Helium.

helium backs your apps and data. it does not back your phone settings, wallpaper, etc like a custom recovery like twrp can do. it is close, but not quite the same.

What phone do you have and which version of Android is it running?
Are you using the Helium free version or the pay-for Premium version?
Is your phone rooted or still stock?
These are basic aspects that have relevance. It's not just enough to have the Helium app, there are conditional prerequisites.

What kind of computer do you have and which version of operating system is it running?
That's also relevant, and it ties in directly to what phone you have, if Windows it's likely you need to install the appropriate device driver, If Linux or Mac probably not.
Are you plugging your phone into something like a USB hub or directly into a USB port on your computer?
Have you tried using a different USB cable?
