Locator is a program that runs on android mobiles designed to track gps positions on google maps. It's especially useful for sportsmen and travelers who want to record their movements and check them later on a map.
Locator sends the positions received by the android gps device associated with it's receiving time, velocity and bearing.
Remember that the service is completely free!

Two exciting news about the new version Locator 3.0:

- upload photos:

from version 3 Locator is able to send photos obtained by the Android camera. They are associated to the coordinates of the current position, so that you can see them on the map like other position markers.
This marker will show up on the map.


- Locator forum:

a place to discuss every issue regarding the program. Here you can explain how you are using it, if it's working well for your needs, if you have advices on it's future developments. It'd be nice if you could share with others your travel experiences with locator.
