I got a new phone (HTC M8 factory refurbished unlocked (originally AT&T)) and bought a new nano sim.
Followed the procedure from simple mobile site to activate new sim.
It deactivated my old sim and shows my new sim as active on their site. But whenever I try to make a call it says "The service you are attempting to use has been restricted or unavailable. Call customer service. Message GA14065."
Called simple mobile customer service and they said the new sim is active. But have no idea what to do with it. Gave me an address nearby and said you should go there.
Any ideas what would be wrong or what can I try? Is this because this was an AT&T phone originally?
