So I got my cases last night. Here's a quick size comparison with my Pixel one and the Nexus 6.
First side by side with the N6
Next the Pixel in the 2XL case - barely bigger footprint.
Last the 2XL case on top of the N6. It's substantially more narrow and only slightly taller.
I like the size.
