S6 stuck on recovery menu

My wife's S6 (Verizon, Android N, stock) was having issues and she attempted to wipe the cache partition. She got to the recovery menu, and used the volume down button to move the selector. It moved down as far as the wipe data/factory reset option, and won't move further.
Vol up/down button are not responding.

Scared that she's going to lose her information.

Is there a way to simply power off or to reboot from where she is?

It seems that since the process of wiping the cache wasn't completed, She can just long press the power button and end the process without losing any of her data information. Or if the device has a removable battery that will most definitely in the process. Note: Some of these issues has no quick fix and one has to troubleshoot the possibilities.
