Hello, I have Android 6.0.1 on a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone. I use Google Keyboard (from the Play Store) as my preferred software keyboard. The mic icon is usually located in the top-right corner of the keyboard, to the right of the suggested words. But I don't have the mic icon. Which means I can't do "voice typing".

(In this screenshot, the mic icon should be to the right of the word "thanks").

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it a lot.

Parayilhussain, I selected your answer as the BEST ANSWER. (It's the only answer, but it cannot be beat!) :) Thank you so so so much. I was trying to get help on IRC and I thought I had to resort to wiping/reformatting my phone. (And what a pain that would be, as my phone's SD card is set up for "Internal Storage").

Again, huge thanks.

I also LIKEd your answer. :)
