transferring from one ST phone to another. What can I expect?

Got my new sim card today so tonight (should be able to be without my phone for a few days starting tonight) I plan to do the switch. Anyone done this with two different Straight Talk sims (both AT&T)? Wondering if I can expect it to go smoothly or not.

eta: my plan is to transfer my number and hopefully my time.

In case anyone needs to know, it was super simple and took about 3 minutes.
