Virgin Waives Text Fees & Call Surcharges To Japan

"To help support our customers with friends, family and colleagues in Japan, Virgin Mobile is waiving all standard text messaging fees for customers sending text messages to and from Japan [picture messages cannot be sent to international phone numbers]. We will also waive international surcharges for voice calls made from the USA to Japan. This is effective March 16 through April 10, 2011. Standard airtime rates still apply."
