Vpn settings Android devices qlink

I just figured out the vpn settings for the LG v30 for qlink customer service said it wasn't comparable but I knew it was he told my my phone was not 4g but here is the settings

1. Go to Settings and locate Wi-Fi & Mobile Data & make sure both are turned ON.
2. Tap Mobile Networks.
3. Tap Access Point Names (APN).
4. Tap New APN or the sign.
5. Carefully enter the settings as shown in the fields below:
   • Name: QLink Wireless
   • APN: qlink
   • MMSC: http://wholesale.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc
   • MCC: 310
   • MNC: 240
   • APN Type: default,supl,mms
   • APN Protocol: Select > IPv4/IPv6
6. Tap Menu or tap the More Options icon
7. Click Save
8. Select QLink Wireless under Access Point Names (APN)
9. Restart your phone, open your browser, and start using your Data.

This should be retitled as APN settings, not Vpn settings.

Also, regardless if the info provided is correct- I tried this multiple times (information provided by Q-Link)- it still did not work.

I was forced to change providers.

Interestingly enough, the same device now works.

The service (through T-Mobile) is horrible.
