It means it will pick up tmobile hspa+ bands in areas that are not reframed yet. Att doeant use aws bands. It was cheaper spectrum so alot of smaller carrier bought up the aws spectrum. T mobile will be using it exclusively for there lte. Before metro pcs became gsm alot of there lte was aws also. If your on tmobile it will help if you use att it doesnt matter if its aws or not.
Thats all it means. Its the north american moto g it picks up aws bands. The only carrier that uses aws bands is tmobile. They only use it for the hspa+ in certain areas. If you dont use tmobile it dont matter if your phone supports aws or not. If you do youll pick up hspa+ on t mobile in select areas. Thats it.
