My brother in law just got a zte zmax from metro in kissimmee Florida 2days ago it rooted just fine

Took 1 try with king root

u should be fine get one just dont update

update do not come install if you dont want update u dont but metro zte max does not come with update already my friend i work for metro

I may try to pull it and make a flashable zip for it in order to update without losing root.

when using King root I'm sure you guys have already tried to open as many apps as you can before trying to root? it took me a long time to get mine rooted using King root until I opened all my browsers and then opened an emulator for Genesis with a game playing on it..I tried it multiple times and anytime I opened the emulator and started a game it rooted but if I didn't it would not root..
