Help bluetooth battery drain

bluetooth is using 97% of my phone battery, zte warp 7, huawei watch
anyone else having this problem, how do I fix

How drained is your battery? It's kind of a relative measurement. If you phone have been unplugged for 10 minutes, is at 99% charge, then you are talking about a very minimal amount of usage by bluetooth in the grand scheme of things.

Full charge at 7am down to 63% at 11 am.

What phone? Is the Huatch up to date? Was this after an initial set up or following a factory reset? Are you using anything like Watchmaker faces? I only ask the last one as my watch didn't get along with some of the faces from that app.

zte warp 7, hwatch is up to date, I am using a watchmaker face time,date,temp digital. I am going to change to a stock watch face and uninstall watchmaker, I will let you know if this solves the problem. Thanks for your help and input.

NOTE: I am also using an app Feel The Wear. Has anyone had any problems with this app using excessive battery?

I've heard people claim that causes battery problems, but that would be on the watch, not your phone.

What version of Bluetooth does your watch use? I've heard that the newer v4.1 drains less battery than the v4.0

uninstalled watchmaker did not fix problem. Uninstalled feel the wear battery back to normal. shame i really liked this app

using 4.1 watch, marshmallow 6.0, newest update of android wear

up date: reinstalled watchmaker phone battery 92% 3 hours left bluetooth 98% ????
going to uninstall watchmaker again. will keep you updated
this problem is driving me nuts!!!
