Help App icon too large, cannot uninatall app

I can't uninstall this app, because the app icon covers nearlh the screen. Pls find me a fix.

And an icon cannot be large. Are you sure this isn't a widget?

If it is an app why don't go to the app drawer and uninstall it?

Or Settings > Apps.

The usual reasons people can't uninstall things are that they are system apps (so need root to uninstall, though you can usually disable instead, which is effectively the same) or they don't know what it actually is.

I've never seen anything like that before. Usually when you tap uninstall, should be a dialogue box with something like "This app will be uninstalled.", with UNINSTALL or CANCEL buttons.

Before uninstall choose clear cache, clear data

Hold your finger on it and drag it to the trashcan/x. That will take the icon from your home screen anyway.

Sorry, but what is that proving?

If you got that when you tapped the icon it suggests it isn't an app but a shortcut to something (an image or video, possibly a download link for one in which case you may have an adware problem). If you got that when you did something else, please tell us what?

Problem resolved. I installed Wondershare mobile go on pc and connected my phone to pc. I uninstalled it using the app. And it worked.
