hi i am using a moto g turbo edition cellphone , my friends using the same cellphone but still gets better battery life can anyone tell me what should I do to increase my battery life??

One of the most common causes ... do you have Location enabled? If you do turn it off.

nope.. location off wifi Bluetooth scanning off battery saver enabled i even have that black wallpaper on my phone..
only some texting mails and calls on 4g

Are your friends with better performance close to where you are? Perhaps there is a cell tower to phone problem where you are?

he lives 30 kms from my place and uses a different network provider.. is there any relation???

Possibly. What does your provider say? Issue like always trying to use 4G, failing, retrying, forever and eating battery in the process.

well i have poor network.. i guess that might be the issue because whenever i call them and complain all they say is.. that we don't have cell towers in your area but upgradation is going on.. please wait..

You might want to find out what carrier(s) do have coverage in your area.

Where I am ... for people working out of a truck ... I recommend US Cellular. They have the fewest towers and rent the most tower spacer from their competitors. The result is that they have the best coverage in this area (with lots of hills).

i am using Airtel.. but have just found out that Vodafone might be the answer to all my prayers.. so will port to Vodafone

I assume you are not root-ed.

You could have a phone problem ... hardware ... bad app.

You could run in Safe Mode for a while and if it improves it is caused by an app that you added.
