Can't hide applications

Try this:
  • Tap the "App Menu"
  • Tap on "Settings"
  • Tap "Applications"
  • Select "All Apps"
From here you should be able to dig around and find a way to toggle apps on/off from visibility. Basically, you're accessing this option from the menus rather than through pinch to zoom.

Let us know if this works and if you can find it share some screenshots!
