Cool beans! I hope we can get an eye on it. I might have to try a look with some binoculars. Naked eye would even be sweeter!

I'm reading that Comet Nishimura is already visible by the naked eye and should be at it's brightest the 12th. I've spaced this sight off.. I'll have to get to some dark sky and see what I can see. It sounds cool with a green coma and a thin tail. Visible the hour after sunset and the hour before sunrise in the East North East sky towards the waning crescent moon and Venus. Clear skies.

Thanks for the thread. It was the first I'd heard of the comet. I would have been upset if I missed it.

It's getting close. The green color is very cool

I hope someone got to see the comet. I've had overcast sky ruining my chance. I'm bummed! It's been my experience that any short window space viewing opportunity is a more miss than hit proposition. Sad, but that's the way it goes... at least for me.
