Help Computer wont recognize my Spectrum

My phone soft-bricked and I can't find any one who will flash it, so I decided to do it myself. I have rooted and installed CM on several tablets, so I didn't expect any problems. I downloaded the latest LG USB drivers and installed them, but when I plug in my phone, Win 7 returns an unknown device error. Anybody got any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. :)

What mode is your phone in and what software are you attempting to use to flash it?

Edit: Actually, I'll just give you the information I would anyways.

NOTE: DO NOT USE ANY OF THESE FILES UNLESS YOU HAVE A VS920 (aka a Spectrum). If you use it on any other model (aka spectrum 2), you will hard brick your phone.

Use this link and follow the instructions.

When it says to download the USB drivers, use this link instead :

When it says to download the cab file, use this link instead :

You're already soft bricked, so you can't turn on any of the extra stuff in the first steps, so just skip to putting it into download mode and going from there. Hope this works out for you.
