Help Galaxy Tab 3 cant see Wifi

Good afternoon,

I've just been given a galaxy tab 3 10.1 but for some reason it cant not see my home wifi network, I am using virgin media and I can see other virgin media wifi routers, I can also see BT and a talk talk one but not my home one. My phone, laptop etc are all connected OK to the network. If I manually enter the SID it just says its out of range.

I've completed a factory reset on the tablet but have the same issues.
