Help Glitch in home button behavior setting?

So I just noticed on my M8, when I go into settings / display and gestures and set the home button behavior, if I set it to swipe for google and hold for menu (like my M7) it does not open the menu of any apps. Can anyone verify this?

I don't appear to even have the option to alter "home menu behavior". Probably another Verizon difference.

My Verizon m8 doesn't have that setting. The heading says Display and gestures. Software version is 1.12.605.11 CL315044.

Well it doesn't seem to matter since the stetting doesn't work anyways lol

Yup it doesn't work on mine either. Sprint version.
