Google mail accounts not showing unread email count

Before Google updated their app whenever I opened it and look at my accounts, I could see a list of all my accounts with an unread count to the right of each account. Now the unread count is gone and I have to open each account (7) to check for new emails. Is there any way to get that feature back?

geeze how many gmail accts do you have? LOL

have you tried just wiping cache and even data(you will need to re-sign in if you do that)?
