Principal Engineer at Google Zurich, ehshad Behzadi, was at SMX West this week and he revealed an interesting project that Google was working on.
He says that Google wants to let people use conversational search in order to buy products. For example, you could say “OK, Google, find me a 1TB solid state external hard drive?”. Google would then give you a list of products it feels that matches your request and then you could say “purchase the one from BestBuy.”
Then the next thing you know, you have a Best Buy receipt being sent to your email address.
