Help how to upgrade from 2.3 to 4.0

I would like to know how to upgrade from 2.3 to 4.0 on the phone and tablet, which file I have to download and what to do after download those files, thank you very much.

What phone and tablet are we talking about? What carrier?
Have you tried to go into your settings to look for the system updates tab?
Depending on the device/carrier, your updates may be limited.

Hey there!

Its not quite that simple. As every android device has different hardware, each update has to be specific for it.

As a result of this specificity, you'll only be able to get the update if the manufacturer has released it for that device.

An alternative solution is from 3rd party developers, but this requires root.

If you let us know what phone and tablet you have, we can try to help get you pointed to the right direction.
