Iris scanner & glasses/contact lenses

I'm virtually blind so I wear contact lenses and glasses. Has any one had any experience of using the iris scanner with both as opposed to one or the other?

I've seen mixed reviews about accurate the scanner is with glasses, I wonder if throwing lenses in there will add further confusion in to the mix.

I also have different glasses, dependent on whether or not I have my lenses in, will that make a difference?
