Help Messaging crashed after contact received from a friend

Hello everbody! I just received an e business card from a pal who might be using an I phone, when I opened it my Z5 (fully updated for software) turned off! Then when I turned it on it says unfortunately messaging is not working! And won't open. I've scanned the phone no bugs found via virus protection! Thing is I trust the guy it's come from!
