Moto e5 Wallpaper Location

I have a Motorola Moto e5 running Android 8.0.0 and can't find where the current user-set wallpaper files are stored. My current wallpaper image was originally taken by the phone camera, but I deleted the original image in my DCIM folder a while after setting it to wallpaper. I've had a bit of a search online, but it seems the storage location varies between Android versions... Any help would be appreciated.

Wallpaper image files are part of the stock launcher, which is a system file. You don't have access to that without rooting your phone.
You can try downloading a image file off the internet based on that stock launcher image....

How do I change the background on the contacts and call screen for this phone, needing this for a 65% blind person

You would need to use a different dialer app and contacts app, for that purpose.
