My moto x won't turn on?

My phone has been kind of buggy ever since the new system update but nothing too bad. Just a little laggy. Today I locked it and then when I tried to unlock it later it wouldn't come on. I put it on charge, thinking that it somehow must have died even though it was on about 50%. It's not charging at all. I tried to hook it up to the computer but the computer wouldn't even recognize it was plugged in. It basically seems bricked. Is there anything I can do to fix it? The reboot screen won't even come up when holding down the power/volume buttons.
