Without further ado, I present the stock recovery for the Galaxy Rush. After two sleepless nights with no physical access to the phone, I guided forum member Christophorus through forcefully rooting a stock phone and extracting the stock recovery. I linked the stock recovery above, please follow the instructions in Shabby's thread but use this tar instead.

Thanks go to:
Christophorus for being my eyes and fingers
Shabbypenguin for being Shabby

Ok, my phone wont fully boot up. it will boot into CWM and download mode but if i try to get any further than that i get stuck in a boot loop. I just got this phone for christmas from my dad and if i tell him what happened i'll probably get grounded for like a month. Sooooo, is there any way you can help me or what? I have tryed to use odin to flash back to recovery but it's not working. My CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD is at 6 counts and i dont want to mess with it any further until i know what to do. Please help me and quick!

So you tried to root following these directions and it didn't work?

I'm assuming you tried the recovery in this thread.. only other option I can think of is to try this: http://androidforums.com/rush-all-things-root/655762-oudhs-return-stock.html

Maybe ask a rom developer to help and meet in chat.

I'm new to this so i have no idea who to talk to. My question is: is there any hope whatsoever? And if there is, how soon?

I would go into CWM and try factory data reset and if that doesn't work try the above.
Try the factory reset before flashing anything else.

And as long as your phone is still booting even even if it is only some what there is plenty of hope :) just don't let them know yet and you can fix it by researching and trying recovery options on this forum.

Edit: yeah this is just stock recovery. Will replace CWM with 'original' recovery.

I bought a new phone and will be no longer using the rush anymore, so I wanted to completely restore this phone back to stock factory unrooted like when you buy the phone from the store. I was hoping to get the recovery file, but it will not download. Does anyone else have another link for this tar? Thanks!

The link in the OP works fine for me., which browser are you using? I tried using boat browser

To get back to bone stock, you can flash the stock rom in this thread via cwm
http://androidforums.com/showthread.php?t=696356

Then use Odin to install the stock recovery (found in the first post of this thread)

Also, if you do
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
To enter download mode instead of the button combo when you flash the stock recovery it should remove the yellow triangle you see at boot
