Yesterday, out of the blue, my Google Assistant (OK Google) stop responding to my voice. Also, the voice settings were greyed out. And the biggest problem was that it didn't work in Safe Mode either. I could get it to work by long pressing the Home button. So I gave up. This morning I got a full screen pop-up with the Google Assistant icon at the top. (Multicolored dots) I followed the instructions and my Google Assistant was working again. I wrote this to let people know that I think the pop-up is safe to follow. Good luck
