S9+ Screen replacement

Recently My S9+ fell and got its screen cracked.(it wasn't even a big fall. It just slipped out of my pocket while I was sitting on a small stool kind of thing but still it cracked). I heard that it would cost less if it's only the glass that is broken. How to know whether it's just the screen or it has impacted the LCD screen too. Also it would be great if someone could give me a rough idea about the prices for a replacement.
