My Moto G 4G recently stopped charging. This issue seems to have gone away after I opened the phone to measure with a voltmeter if the power was getting from the USB socket to the battery connector. I don't think I changed anything but it now seems to recognise the charger and charges up when I plug it in. Great!
Except, now the screen is misbehaving seriously. When I turn it on it quickly begins random clicking and swiping, opening apps and changing settings and making the phone impossible to use. The random clicks sometimes seem to come from the same area, other times from anywhere on the screen.
I've removed the screen protector but this has not changed its behavior.
Can anyone suggest what may be causing this?
