Stop the Nagging [Update Notification]

This is being wrote in the attempt to stop having this asked in almost every thread. It has been answered numerous times throughout our subforum.

There are basically 2 different ways to stop the update notification, without actually updating.
  • Long press update notification
  • Tap app info
  • Uncheck "show notifications"
Or
  • Open up Settings>Apps>All tab>
  • Scroll to Google Play Services
  • Uncheck "show notifications"
In the photo, "show notifications" is located under the force stop button

We probably will NOT get another "real" update ever. The chances of an official LG update to lollipop are extremely slim. Plus if we do it will be mentioned here in the forum. You can re-check it if we do ever get an update.
Just to note, those notifications after you updated, are most likely carrier updates (which is the garbage bloatware we try to eliminate from our devices).
