Switch to a used Galaxy SIII?

I have been a VM customer for about 10 years and recently bought a HTC Desire 510 that has horrible memory issues. There doesn't appear to be many choices from VM to purchase right now but I do see used Virgin Mobile Galaxy SIII 16gb phones for sale for about $100. I don't need the latest or best phone, just a good one that I'm not going to have constant memory issues with.

Has anyone had a SIII and would they recommend it? Also has anyone transferred their account from one VM phone to another?

Well, I can't really comment on VM, but I can say from personal experience that the Samsung S3 served me very well when I had mine. I was, and still am, on Verizon, but the S3 was very reliable.

Two people in my family are using an S3 on Virgin Mobile. One has been replaced on warranty due to a charging port issue, but other than that, there have been no troubles.

I'd suggest using a site like eBay or Amazon in order to have their consumer protection in buying a phone. Swapping phones is super easy through your account online - from a desktop rather than mobile if possible.
