The Rooster that cross the road

So today I am rolling through yuba City California and I had been stopped at an intersection so right before I start rolling forward I scan quickly left to right, right to left, left to right and then I see it
A rooster standing on the corner
He started walking in the crossing lane flapping his wings , strutting. Judging by how good of condition he was in I am going to say he's someone's pet
Unfortunately I couldn't get a picture
But judging from the looks on people who were watching it I don't think this was a rare moment

I wanted so badly to get a picture of that rooster but unfortunately I was driving, all I can is that the old joke about the chicken crossing the road became reality yesterday

Ha ha, me too! The rooster that crossed the road...WHAT?

This reminds me of a phenomenon I've seen on the news, from all around the world--herds of deer, sheep, various other animals, romping through seemingly-deserted cities. It's quite a sight!

i was thinking along the lines of "why did the rooster cross the road?"......"because he wanted to see if he was chicken"
