Help Two problems for a newbie

Android is for you kids but old farts like to keep up with the zeitgeist too.
1]Must I use my fat finget to type.What an unholy PIA!No stylus?
2]Zio is rejecting APK files.I put them on the SD card and bluetoothed them.Have paired devices.
3]What is the best chess game and how do I install the damn thing?

Otis, welcome to android forums :hello: Just so you know, there are lots of seasoned citizens quite familiar with Android around here! I'll take a crack at your questions below:

1) Yes. It takes time getting used to it, but it's not impossible. To make typing a little easier try a 3rd-party keyboard like Swype.

2) I'm not sure what you are trying to do here. Can you give us more detail?

3) Go to Apps and open Play Store. Once it opens search for "chess" and you'll be able to see the star rating and reviews for the various chess apps.
