Dang, the L90 forum is dead.
I just wanted to say that this hack for the LG F6 and L70 works 99% for the L90 too, on stock lollipop rom. Just follow those instructions.
Everything seems to work fine. The only small glitch is that the Storage setting still says the phone has a total of 8gb of memory, but the details below it say that I have 32gb free.
This beats Marshmallow's stupid Adoptable Storage, which still eats up the phone's memory and results in insufficient space errors.
