Netflix admits it throttles video for AT&T and Verizon customers

On AT&T and Verizon and feel your Netflix video quality isn't as good as it should be? That's because Netflix is seemingly throttling data for those customers to as high as 600 kilobytes per second. Netflix's excuse is that they are looking out for customers so as to not inflate anyone's data usage in a world where data caps are becoming increasingly common. Sprint and T-Mobile users' data aren't throttled as those companies are less stringent on data usage policies. Verizon and AT&T claim they had no idea Netflix was doing this.
