You need to type in the correct IP addressort number. You have 192.168.1.1.88:8888
It should be either 198.162.1.1:8888 or 198.162.1.88:8888 Just duplicate what Airdroid is showing, don't include extra numbers.

if you can enlarge that , look at the number it has two 1.1. and 8888? i copied it exactly!??

But it was not exactly the same, you added an additional '.88' You need to type in the IP address using the same exact numbers, no alternations, no additions or exclusions.

Any IPv4 IP address will follow the same pattern -- four numbers separated by a period. (and in this particular instance it will be those four numbers with a ort number tacked on to the end) You had five numbers.

What he did was add an additional period. The local IP of the phone is 192.168.1.188 and it's using port 8888 so what he wants is 192.168.1.188:8888

when i open the air droid app on my phone , it says i am connected, but when i open the airdroid app on the computer it say's "no phone connected?? also, now that i have this how do ai get the 5.1,1 version that AT&T did not release yet? can I install that manually now? where do i download it from? thanks!

AT&T has not even released the 5,1,1!!! JEEZ! I will be in my grave by the time I am up to date! is there a way to go right to HTC for the upgrade 6.0? or am I stuck waitint g for AT&T? the woman at AT&T suggested i see if it is available there?

i have 5.1.1 att go phone zte zmax 2 using witj straight talk

How does that help me? yours is a go phone. guess they still have not released it to HTC!!
