Galaxy Tab A 8.0 Volume Issue

Does anyone know how to fix the volume setting in the build.prop file? I think one of the apps I downloaded after rooting it changed something and my volume is not even half of what it used to be.

what app did you download? have you tried uninstalling it? do you have recovery? if so did you make a nandroid backup?

I have the stock rom for nougat 7.1.1 might get the original stock rom and try that. I have forgotten the app I used but it was a volume booster, or it was supposed to be anyway.

since you are rooted make sure that u do a nandroid backup before messing around with anything. this way you do not have to flash a new rom. you can just go back previously like nothing happened.
