I have a Moto X Style which I have stopped using because the battery has become really weak. Until I was last using it, it worked fine when plugged into a power bank or charger.
I recently factory reset the phone, so that I could sell it online. However, when I plugged it in and tried to set it up after that, I got the "Google Play services keeps stopping" message right on the setup screen. Because of the error I was not able to set up the phone as a new phone. Basically, it is unusable as of now.
Now, I've tried various things like hard resetting it externally and even clearing the cache by going to recovery mode, but nothing has worked.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
