So, you have unlocked your ZTE Zmax Pro for T-Mobile, you want unlimited LTE hotspot speeds. How do you get it?

First, your plan must already have some form of unlimited tethering because this only bypasses the speed restrictions.

If you want to connect another Android device to your hotspot, then this guide is unneeded because you already get the fastest speed available.

THIS GUIDE IS FOR PC ONLY
Thanks to YGB, all you have to do is a simple registry edit.
Just tried and it works! For those who dont know how (that was me a few minutes ago) here's cut&paste from Microsoft Help:

1. Open Registry Editor (regedit.exe).
2. From the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE subtree, go to the following key:
\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters.
3. In the right pane, add the following value:
Name: DefaultTTL
Type: REG_DWORD

Then double click it and add value 65 ((as hexadecimal - Anubis))

4. After that, please restart the computer and check the result.

After you apply the registry edit, you will go from 3G speeds to full 4G.

To do this on OS X/Linux you would need to look up a guide on how to change the default TTL in your OS. Hope this helps you guys out.
