Security firm Zimperium has announced they have found a vulnerability that affects Android versions 2.2 – 5.1 and can let attackers infiltrate devices with only a single text message. More details of the attack are said to be published in August, but the idea is to "open an attachment or download a file that's corrupt. . .the malicious code would take over instantly, the moment you receive a text message"
