How to Get Samsung Galaxy J2 To Use Speed Dial Numbers

I have speed dial code numbers set on my Galaxy J2 phone, but when I press a speed dial code number the phone won't dial the associated number. I get a recording "call cannot be completed as dialed". Obviously it is dialing only the speed dial code and not the associated number (dialing the actual number directly from contact list works). What's the trick to get the Galaxy phone to dial using the speed dial numbers?

Help Keep getting unidentified sound that doesn't seem to be a notification

Recently, my Samsung A13 with the stock OS and the latest updates started periodically making a sound I've never heard before. It sounds very much like an electronic version of a house key being dropped into a shot glass. I have a notification history app, but nothing appears in that list anywhere near the time the sound is heard.

I can't detect anything going on near the time it is heard. It occurs at seemingly random times, often waking me up even with the general sound volume set low. I can't turn off the phone's sound completely because I need my Dexcom G7 diabetes monitor running at all times to warn me of problems. I tried uninstalling the Dexcom app temporarily to see if it was producing the sound, but it still sounded apparently randomly. I also looked at what apps I had installed before the sound began, but nothing seemed to match up.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this annoying sound, please? Thanks!

expired picture messages issue

I have an s21 plus and the issue I'm having is that when I get sent pictures, it comes up as automatically expired.. like it expires the minute it's sent and when I click it, it says somethings wrong. Here's the catch though, for some reason it doesn't work when my sister, (Galaxy, verizon, diff plan) sends me pictures or my husband (Galaxy, Verizon, diff plan). However, my mother, who has an apple, with Verizon and shares the same plan with my sister--- her pictures send. Could someone help me with this? Samsung just told me to get a new phone. Thanks

Google voice assistant response

Google assistant is only supposed to respond to my voice, correct? Do background noises have an affect? It often does a poor job of interpreting what I say. For instance, something if I say 'take a reminder", it opens my camera. Or, at orher times, not matter how many repetitions I attempt to create a particular reminder, and how slowly and clearly I try to say it, it wrongly repeats it back to me, with the same wrong phrase.

Another is when it doesn't refer to my contacts for requested phone calls.

I've retrained the voice numerous times

I'd really like to find a replacement for it.

Android Not Keeping Audio Enabled for Bluetooth Devices

I have a pair of Bluetooth headphones. Every time I connect them and I start playing like a YouTube video or a song nothing comes out because the audio is not enabled in Android and I manually go into the Bluetooth settings and check this audio box. I've tried to unpairing and repairing it, but android never keeps audio enabled, every single time I have to manually do it is there a way to force android to have it stay enabled?

I have s22.

Help Stop apps from auto starting

Galaxy s10e

About a month ago I began experiencing open apps when I use my fingerprint to wake it,, or sometimes, like today, one app was unexpectedly just "there" suddenly during the course of my activity.

At first, I thought it was my imagination, that I inadvertently tapped one, but it seemingly happens daily, once or twice, with different apps, and some of them I rarely if ever use.

Blu contact blues

My friend got a Blu government phone from somebody who was sick of it. Yeah, it's a real cheapie. Now the guy who had it wants the contacts from it. That sounds simple enough but it's been a headache. We couldn't find a way to export them as a file, only import. Apparently it's not possible to send them via email. Probably the only thing left is to write them out by hand and mail them. I guess the phones aren't in close enough proximity for some kind of sharing.

Help The phone app disappears after recent system update?

After a recent system security update to my phone, the phone calling app seems to be invisible when a phone call comes in. I can't answer the call, it doesn't pop up on my screen sometime, and if it does show up, it seems to disappear again. And sometimes I can't disconnect the call because the phone app has disappeared too. The phone call isn't even visible in the notification screen.

The phone is a Samsung S22 Ultra, with Android 13, and build number: TP1A.220624.014.S908WVLS2CWE1.

Device Invisible on ADB/Fastboot

Help All, Please Help,
I recently got a OnePlus 2 for use when I'm traveling to the EU. It came(Ebay) with TWRP installed but factory reset and no root access.
Right now, all I want is comms from PC to Device. I have tried everything I can. USB Debugging is on, OEM Unlock is on, Drivers installed from the device, SDK installed, etc
What confuses me: When I plug in my Pixel 7 and type 'ADB Devices' it's recognized immediately so it seems the PC is ok.

I'm simply lost. Any advice is greatly appreciated
Thank you

How to mute (but not block) calls from unknown numbers

I have a Galaxy A03s.

I don't answer calls from unknown numbers. I know how to block calls, but I limit that function to calls from unknown numbers that call more than once without leaving a voicemail message.

What I'd like to do in the case of all other unknown callers is simply mute them automatically. I figure that if a caller is legitimate, he'll leave a message and I can then call back. If the caller doesn't leave a message, then I'm content to consider the call unimportant. (I don't want to "block" all unknown numbers, because my understanding is that that stops such calls from coming through altogether, so the callers can't leave voicemail messages.)

But I can't find an automatic mute setting on my phone, and Googling the issue keeps turning up instructions on how to block calls, and not how to mute or silence them. The one site that I found that did talk about "silencing" instead of blocking calls directed me to a setting that I don't have on my phone -- it said to open the phone app and go to Settings | Call | Call Rejection, but I don't have a "Call" option in my phone settings.

Is it possible to automatically mute unknown callers? If so, how is it done?

Thanks.

Can my charging port on my tablet be fixed? And my phone dying around 80-90 something percent

It's currently on 1% I have it off. Long story short I missed up my charging port by constantly yucking it out . It still could charging but the charging wouldn't go all the way it just would go halve way enough for it to charge but I couldn't hold the tablet or the charging would drop out. I had to use tape and do it in away it ould stay and charge. I stupidly took a scissors and out it into the charging port moved up and down and now the charger goes all the way in but doesn't charge. Can this be fixed ? All my info and stuff are on it. Also my phone heat up on the camera and does quickly on 80-90 percent and even if I have the charging in it still drops quick. Is it the battery or something else. Also the charging light on my tablet is blinking red on and off any clue what that means. Please reply, please.
